Invisible Browsing – Change Your IP Address
Most modern browsers come with a feature that allows you to surf the web in privacy. Mozilla calls the feature in its Firefox browser Private Browsing Mode; Microsoft calls it in Internet Explorer InPrivate Browsing; and Mountain View-based search engine giant calls it Incognito in its Chrome browser. Once you activate this feature, you can surf the web safe in the knowledge that no data about your surfing session is stored by the browser.
While private browsing is turned on, the browser will not remember things like visited web pages, form and search bar entries, passwords, download list entries, cookies, web cache files, Which I find quite nice from a privacy point of view. But you know that site you’re visiting. It doesn’t tae your privacy needs so seriously. For example it knows precisely where you’re surfing from – it can do this by simply looking at your IP address.
If you want to protect your privacy and truly surf the web in anonymity, you need to get a specialized software application like Invisible Browsing. This application will protect your privacy by hiding or spoofing your IP address. Thanks to its easy to use UI (user interface) you can easily change your IP address. The development team that came up with Invisible Browsing put a lot of thought into ease of use when they came up with the UI. There are two IP changing modes. The first one is “Automatic” and is perfectly suited for the novice user. It allows the user to change the IP address, view his real IP address, and restore the original IP address. The second mode is called Manual and is better suited for advanced users that are familiar with using proxies.
The catch is that while using Automatic Mode, you cannot select your new IP address. If you want to trick the site you’re visiting into thinking your surfing from France instead of the UK, you have no choice but to use the Manual mode which allows you to select the IP address of a specific country. There is one other catch. After changing your IP address, you might find that your browsing speed has slowed down a bit.
Protect your privacy by hiding away your real IP address with the powerful tool that is Invisible Browsing.
